Initiatives over the years
Organize the photography and visual arts auction, proceeds of which go toward the NABJ and VTF scholarship funds.
Host diverse educational workshops, along with critiques and mentoring sessions at the annual NABJ convention.
The Moneta J. Sleet Jr. photo competition and judging.
Host the gala VTF reception honoring members, photo competition winners, students and educators.
Provide support for visual journalism interns, mentoring programs, professional workshops and collegial bonding among visual journalists throughout the year.
